How much time should you spend at Ripley's aquarium? ›

The aquarium is open daily, year-round from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. During the summer and on weekends and holidays the aquarium is busiest from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on off season peak hours are 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Give yourself about between two and three hours to properly enjoy the full experience.

On average it will take about 60 to 90 minutes to enjoy the full SEA LIFE experience. However, you can spend as long as you'd like with our marine creatures. Your general admission ticket permits re-entry*, so you can even return for a visit later in the day. Note: Group tickets do not permit re-entry.

It is essential to test and adjust bottled water before adding it to a fish tank. Using bottled water for your fish tank can also be costly, especially if you have a big fish tank. You can also require numerous water bottles, making it a time-consuming and impractical option.

We only allow hand-held cameras inside the aquarium and do not permit any additional equipment with general admission. Ripley's Aquarium of Canada is open all year round however the scuba diving schedule is restricted to certain days of the week. Typically the Dangerous Lagoon diving tours happen on Saturdays at 3PM and Sundays at 1PM. These dive times are subject to change depending on availability and demand.

One word of caution, the facility gets cold and you should be prepared for that if you spend any significant time and dress accordingly. We were in pants and shirts but a lttle more cover would have made it more pleasant. I understand their need to keep it cold but we didn't think it would feel that cold.

Do you have to pay to walk on the pier at Myrtle Beach? ›

Myrtle Beach State Park Pier, lies three miles south of Myrtle Beach on U.S. 17. Prices: Free to walk on pier with paid park admission; Fishing pass $4.50; Rod $4 plus $20 deposit. Fishing permits included.

Prohibited items on Aquarium property

For the safety of guests, staff, volunteers and exhibit animals, all bags are subject to search. Refusal to bag search may result in non-admittance to the Aquarium.

It's was equally fun for us adults too. There aren't many places that have something for every age range, but the Ripley's Aquarium was perfect for this. I could have spent all day checking out the hypnotic displays of jellyfish. One of the coolest parts of the aquarium was this long moving tunnel through the lagoon.

there's a lot to see! Some people stay staring at the sharks for 30 minutes alone, some people breeze by. I'd say if you'd like a comfortable cushion of time, you'd want about 1.5-3 hours. Also, if you're coming with a group, I'd recommend making your timeline longer.
