Can you pick up a package from UPS? ›

Customers can head over and pick up their deliveries whenever it's convenient for them. Our dedicated team will even alert you when your package is ready for pickup - all you need to do is bring your ID that matches the delivery information, and you'll be good to go.

Yes, you can pick up a package early by holding it at the post office. As long as your package has a tracking number, is being handled by USPS right before delivery, and isn't already out for delivery, it's possible to update the delivery instructions and have it held at your local post office.

We recommend using this service for your high-value shipments and other important packages. When you select UPS Signature Required service, UPS will not deliver the shipment without obtaining a signature (or electronic acknowledgement).
